"If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together."
718 Cyclery's Micro-Tours are a quick way to escape the city on the weekend, on your bike. Meet at the shop on Saturday, meet new friends, ride to our destination, eat, camp, and return to the shop on Sunday. No work is missed, but worlds are opened up.
2018 Micro-Tour 4 was a 55 mile bike ride from NYC to Ward Pound Ridge Reservation in Westchester County, NY on July 7 and 8, 2018.
Over 25 people joined in the ride, and we were greeted by some of the best weather summer, and some of the clearest star-filled skies I've seen in awhile
The group met at a few places along the route and made our way north through Manhatten and into the Bronx
After meeting at Mile 15, the group is complete and heads north on the South County Trailway towards lunch at Elmsford at Mile 28
After lunch, and passing the halfway point, the group heads further north on the North County Trailway
