2019 Micro-Tour 5: Beartown, MA

Trip Description

This non-drop group ride leaves from Wassiac NY for a night of self-supported camping at Beartown State Forrest, MA. The ride is 42 miles each way.

Travel and Logistics

We will take 8am train from Grand Central Terminal on the Metro-North Harlem like to Wassiac. We will then ride 42 miles into Connecticut and then Massachusetts. We will stop in Salisbury, CT for lunch, and hit a grocery store about 5 miles from camp in Great Barrington, MA. Riders are responsible for rail rickets and MTA Bike Pass.

Orientation Class

Please note Orientation Class for Micro-Tour 5 is on July 25th, 2019. Please register below in addition to registering for the Micro-Tour. Because we value safety above all else, attendance at these Orientation Meetings is mandatory. If you are unable to attend, you must make arrangement with us to meet face-to-face at least 4 days before trip

Free T-Shirts

All Micro-Tour participants get a free t-shirt (or patch if you already have or don’t want the shirt. Shirts must be picked up at Orientation Class or at other times at the shop. T-shirts will not be brought along to give out on Micro-Tour. Specify size in Micro-Tour Registration Form, Men’s and Women’s sizes available.
